GECI offers classes or lessons to people who provide their own horses (haul-in or boarders) or those leasing horses from GECI.
Students leasing, boarding, or hauling-in their horses may sign up for classes below (email OR text me if you want to be added or removed from a class). Classes will have a max of 5 riders (usually 2-4). Class descriptions are below. Classes are 1 1/2 hours long, and $35/rider. If the classes don't suit your needs please contact Alicyn and we can set up a separate lesson, OR change the class type as long as there are no conflicts with the other riders. Lessons are scheduled on an "as need" basis. Lessons are 1 hour long (including ground work & warm-up) group lesson -$30/rider; private- $45.
Riders scheduling lessons can do so anytime during open arena, at a time that fits their schedule. Open arena is between 8AM-9PM seven days a week. Except when the barn is closed for some holidays, during scheduled class or clinic time, and during posted EAL workshops. All closed arena times will be posted on this page's calendar. If there are no riders on the schedule for a particular class, then that time becomes open arena time.
Riders have a minimum of 24 hours before classes or lessons to sign-up or cancel.
Classes and Lessons begin at the scheduled time, have your horse groomed and saddled by class/lesson start time.
NOTE**Classes may have different levels of riders in them. No rider will be asked to do something they are not prepared for; at the same time more advanced riders will be challenged sufficiently. Classes are reserved for riders with some experience. Beginners will need to schedule lessons outside of class time.
